Self-guided tours
Experience the feeling of exploring Rome with a map and references!
Highlights
Please Note: These tours are designed exclusively to offer an alternative when the customer's availability and that of BIBLE TOURS ROME JW don't match, making it impossible to book an in-person tour. Therefore, you cannot directly request a self-guided tour; you must first fill out the request form and indicate your in-person availability. BIBLE TOURS ROME JW does not intend to replace tourism professions with technology. CHECK OUT THE PICTURES AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE TO GET AN IDEA OF WHAT TO EXPECT! Terms and policy
EVERYTHING WRITTEN IN THE TERMS & POLICIES OF THE CORRESPONDING IN-PERSON TOUR SELECTED ALSO APPLIES TO THIS SERVICE. In addition, please read the following. You will receive a link to a map with the route and stops and the relevant refrences for your chosen tour. The map of the route with the refrences will be available from the day before the tour date until a few days after, after which sharing will end. Clicking on the placeholders will reveal a box with the scriptures, publications, and multimedia we used to prepare the tour, along with a brief summary explaining why that stop is significant. PLEASE CHECK THE MAP IN ADVANCE TO SEE IF IT WORKS PROPERLY, as if you notice something is wrong the day you need it while BIBLE TOURS ROME JW is not available, you will not be able to request assistance. NOT BEING ABLE TO USE THE PROVIDED MATERIAL RIGHT WHEN YOU NEED IT DOES NOT ENTITLE YOU TO A REFUND, SO YOU SHOULD CHECK THIS FIRST. Please note that there are no restrooms in the archaeological excavation area (except for the chemical ones, which we do not recommend), so we recommend using Google Maps to find nearby cafes where you can use their restrooms for a small fee. The route shown on the map shows the best route between one stop and the next, but it is not a navigator that also shows your position relative to the map, so you will probably need to use a companion navigator. Always be careful when walking and do not use your electronic device when crossing the street. By clicking on the pins indicating a tour stop, a box will open containing: Scriptures: You will need a Bible to find and read them. Images: They will be included in the box that opens. Videos: They will be listed but not displayed, so you will need to click the link provided to take you to the video. Publications: They will be listed but not displayed, so you will need to click the link provided to take you to the publication. DISCLAIMER: If you are not comfortable with technology, this tour is not for you. BIBLE TOURS ROME JW is not available to explain how to use the maps or how to reach a site, and will not answer questions already answered in the information above. BIBLE TOURS ROME JW can only provide support via text message the day before the tour if the links don't work. BIBLE TOURS ROME JW won't be available when you take the tour, otherwise you would have taken the tour in person.
