Top choice for seniors or those seeking maximum convenience. These highly secure hotels feature elevator access, premium comfort, and are located within a 10-minute walk from our main meeting points.

Family & Groups

Best for families or groups needing larger rooms or suites. Located in safe, residential neighborhoods with easy access (max 20-30 mins) to our tours via taxi or metro.

Budget-Friendly

Ideal for young couples or active travelers looking for great value and cleanliness. These highly-rated B&Bs are within walking distance or a short bus ride to our tours.

Ideal for groups who want a private home with a kitchen. These apartments offer more space and are often more cost-effective for families.

Travel Resources

TRANSPORTATION

Arrive in Rome stress-free and explore at your own pace. I recommend these services for reliable pickups—ideal for families or seniors—and car rentals for trips beyond the city.

ACTIVITIES & TICKETS

Secure your entry to Rome's most famous sites. Use these trusted platforms to book tickets for attractions not covered by our specific Bible tours.

FOOD TOURS, EATERIES & TREATS

Enjoy traditional Roman cuisine and more at my selected eateries! These places are easy to get to, but I recommend booking in advance by following the links.

CONNECTIVITY

Stay connected: get an easy eSIM to have data as soon as you land.

Weather

The risk of rain is from November to May lately whereas it's hot and pretty humid from June to October.

Safety

Beware of pickpockets! They lean on you when the buses or subway are full and stick their hands in your bags.
The Termini station area is not safe at night.

Public transport

Expect failures and delays. Always add 20' to the time you think it will take.

Some taxi drivers are dishonest, request to pay only by credit card.

Meetings

For the times and places of the meetings, always rely on the official website jw.org

  • Italian branch

The Italian branch is being relocated up north so there is not much to see here in Rome. Anyway, if you wish to see the historic headquarters you can find it here. The only way to get to Italian Bethel is by car since it is in the countryside, busses run rarely and the ride may take 1.5 hour if you are in the city center.
