​The risk of rain is from November to May lately whereas it's hot and pretty humid from June to October.
Public transport
Expect failures and delays. Always add 20' to the time you think it will take. Beware of pickpockets! They lean on you, always hold your backpack in front of you. Some taxi drivers are dishonest, request to pay only by credit card.

Hotels in the city center are usually more convenient for getting to attractions.

Eateries
Avoid restaurants too close to tourist attractions. Choose eateries with many reviews and high ratings.
Don't buy bottled water, refill yours at the hundreds of fountain scattered throughout the city.

The Italian branch is being relocated up north so there is not much to see here in Rome. Anyway, if you wish to see the historic headquarters you can find it here. The only way to get to Italian Bethel is by car since it is in the countryside, busses run rarely and the ride may take 1.5 hour if you are in the city center.
